This skill can be used to protect the weak by unselfishly putting yourself at risk to save others. During combat you will automatically try to place yourself in the way of oncoming blows that would otherwise harm or kill your comrades. This skill costs 5 movement for every incoming attack blocked. You must be in defensive combat mode for the skill to work and you must be grouped with the person you want to defend. To stop defending someone type 'defend nobody'. You can defend anyone lower level than you or up to DEX/4 levels higher than you.
defend <player>, defend nobody (to cancel defending)
