By using this skill a strong fighter can take a piercing or polearm weapon and ram it straight through an opponent causing serious damage. If performed outside of combat, the Fighter can wait for an ideal opportunity and generate an extra amount of thrust causing a great deal more damage than when peformed in the heat of combat. Failing impale will cause you to injure yourself. This move costs 30 movement points each time it is performed. This skill has a good chance to instantly kill a creature that is fairly close to death. Also, impaling a sleeping victim will do 160% extra damage. Impaling a foe will delay the character two to three rounds.
